“From days past of constant rejection, to the present where Japan connects to the world”

In 2015, I acted as the real estate agent for certain foreign clients.
From that moment, wagaya Japan was born.
At that time, finding a property to live in Japan as a foreigner was extremely difficult, with numerous properties continuing to dish out rejections. These clients were English high school teachers, who loved Japan and carried their dreams with them when they came here. But, seeing their reaction to the true gap between their dream and reality, I still can’t shake it.
I thought to myself, “At this rate, Japan and this industry has no future,” and so the very next year I developed a system to lower the hurdle for foreigners by opening our international division. And in 2019, wagaya Japan began.
I am grateful that our network has expanded to include real estate companies nationwide who share our vision. Currently, we are expanding our business beyond housing support to include recruitment services, fulfilling our role as a hub connecting Japan and the world.
What connects us is not just our jobs and our homes.
We each are connected, person to person, dreams and reality, heart-to-heart.
